Darrell Jackson Is Good "'n Stuff Like Dat"

A commenter named "palong" over at Mike Sando's Seahawks Insider blog has put together quite a stat sheet on Darrell Jackson's preferred verbal tic. The comment, which can be found here under a disturbing post about the 'Hawks 31st-ranked red zone defense, notes that D-Jack says 'n stuff like dat about once every 19 seconds during a three-minute post-game interview.

For those of you who don't spend all your time listening to podcasts of Seahawks interviews -- What? Don't act like you have some big important job -- Jackson is one of the more entertaining interviews on the team. I'd rank him third, behind Matt Hasselbeck's dry wit and Robbie Tobeck's puckishness, and slightly ahead of Shaun Alexander, who comes in at 53rd place. Yes, Shaun, we know you love God.

As far as I'm concerned, Jackson can end every sentence by kicking a puppy as long as he keeps catching long touchdown passes in triple coverage on third-and-long. It's just too bad the NFL doesn't have the XFL's lax jersey regulations; otherwise we might see something like this.
